Cookie Policy
Version 1.1, in force from 8 September 2026
This policy explains which cookies we use on autorize.ro and in the application, what they do, and how you decide about them. It complements the Privacy Policy, which describes in full how we process personal data.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a site places in your browser and reads on later visits. They are used to remember things between pages, such as the fact that you are signed in, or to count visits.
Alongside them are similar technologies such as the browser local storage areas. We treat those under the same rules and, below, we call them cookies too.
The use of cookies is governed by Law 506/2004 on the processing of personal data and the protection of privacy in the electronic communications sector, and the processing of personal data collected through them is governed by Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
2. Which cookies we use
We use two categories. Strictly necessary cookies make the site work and cannot be turned off, because without them you cannot sign in or work on a dossier. Optional cookies, for statistics and for the support chat, load only if you accept them.
We use no advertising cookies, we build no behavioural profiles, and we do not sell data collected through cookies.
3. Strictly necessary cookies
These are the cookies the platform cannot work without: the session cookie, which remembers that you are signed in, together with the authentication cookies tied to your account, and the cookie that records your choice about optional cookies.
No consent is required for them, because they are strictly necessary for providing the service you asked for, a situation exempted by Law 506/2004 on the processing of personal data and the protection of privacy in the electronic communications sector. If you block them in your browser, signing in and saving a dossier will stop working.
4. Statistics cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how many visitors we have, which pages are read, and where people come from. It helps us decide which content is worth expanding. These cookies load only after you accept them.
The data is aggregated and we do not use it to identify you personally. If you refuse, the Google Analytics script is not loaded at all, so nothing is sent.
5. Support chat cookies
We use Crisp for the support chat. Its cookies remember your conversation so that you do not start over on every page. They load only after you accept them.
If you refuse, the chat is not loaded and you can write to us instead at contact.autorize@gmail.com.
6. Giving and withdrawing consent
On your first visit we show a banner with two options: accept all cookies, or keep only the strictly necessary ones. Nothing optional loads before you choose, and your choice is saved in a cookie of its own.
You can change your choice at any time from the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page on autorize.ro. The same choice applies in the app. The link reopens the banner, and your new choice replaces the previous one. If you move from acceptance to refusal, we stop loading the optional scripts immediately. The choice is kept for six months, after which we ask again. You can also clear the site cookies from your browser settings at any time.
7. List of cookies used
The table below covers the cookies we use, with the provider, category, purpose and duration of each. The names and durations of the Google Analytics and Crisp cookies are the ones published by those providers.
| Name | Provider | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
expresscook.sid | AutoRize | Strictly necessary | Keeps your session on the server and protects forms against forged requests. | 7 days |
session_token | AutoRize | Strictly necessary | Remembers that you are signed in, so we do not ask for your password on every page. | 14 days |
az_consent | AutoRize | Strictly necessary | Records your choice about optional cookies, so we do not ask again. | 6 months |
_ga | Google Analytics | Statistics | Distinguishes one visitor from another, for website usage statistics. | 2 years |
_ga_NMJT78522Q | Google Analytics | Statistics | Keeps session state for our Google Analytics property. | 2 years |
crisp-client/* | Crisp | Support chat | Remembers your chat conversation so you do not start over on the next page. | 6 months |
The rows in the Statistics and Support chat categories appear only after you accept the optional cookies. If you refuse, the scripts that set them are not loaded, so those cookies never reach your browser.
8. How long they last
The session cookie lasts at most seven days and is cleared when you sign out. The cookie recording your choice about cookies lasts six months.
The statistics and chat cookies last for periods set by their providers, typically between a few months and two years. They appear only if you accepted that category.
9. Third-party cookies
The statistics and chat cookies are set by Google and by Crisp, not by us, and those companies act as our providers. Using them involves transfers of data to the United States, on the safeguards described in the Privacy Policy.
We have no control over cookies that an external site reached by a link from our pages might set. When you follow such a link, that site policy applies.
10. Controlling them from your browser
Every modern browser lets you view, delete, or block cookies from its privacy settings. You can block only third-party cookies or all of them, and for Google Analytics there is also an opt-out extension provided by Google.
Note that blocking cookies entirely also blocks the strictly necessary ones, so you will no longer be able to use your account.
11. Changes and contact
We update this policy when we add or replace a provider, or when legal requirements change. The updated version is published on this page together with the date it takes effect.
For any question about cookies write to us at contact.autorize@gmail.com. The platform operator is FOI STUDIO SRL, with full details in the Privacy Policy.
